Students will have the opportunity to learn from basic welding applications to more advanced, sophisticated welding techniques. The program starts with a review of various basic math applications and an introduction to oxy-fuel processes and provides a solid foundation for all other types of welding applications, including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). Students of the Welding Technology program at Medix will start with basic welding applications and advance through more sophisticated welding techniques.
